Anthro Bullies

She soon got to her closest, grabbing the door handle and opening it up, looking for it.

As she looked for it, he suddenly asked, "Hey, would you mind if I use a bathroom?"

"Oh, na, I wouldn't mind. Its down the hall a few steps on the right."

He nodded and stalked to her bathroom, closing the door behind him but forgetting to lock it. Quietly, he began to open doors, in particular search of objects that he wanted to see if she used. Specifically, he looked for antidepressants or painkillers of any kind to see if she was taking any.

She was in her room, getting the sleeping bag out and set up, eyes gleaming slightly as she did. However when he looked there were no pills besides an anti-acid pill, mostly for her bad acid problem but other than that there was nothing.

He sighed in relief at not discovering anything, glad she wasn't dependent on any such medicine. But why do I care so much? he asked himself, and walked out the bathroom with a thoughtful frown on his face, forgetting to flush the toilet to pretend he had actually been using the restroom.

Ria by now had got his sleeping bag nice and comfortable, hoping it was alright. However she had a nagging feeling in the back of her mind about why he was being nice or why she was even being nice.

"Thank you for the sleeping bag," he said gently as he reentered the room. He saw her thinking and asked, "Something on your mind?"

She looked up at him after fixing a pillow, tail flicking around slightly. "Really, it's nothing."

He frowned again at her answer, not believing it for a second. "I mean it, what's up? Remember what I told you about being open?"

"Honestly, just thinking about tomorrow, that's all." Part of that was accutaly true. She was worried about tomorrow.

He sighed and shook his head, still unsatisfied with her answer, but he played along for now. "What are you worried about for tomorrow? Isn't it just like any other school day?"

She gave him a slight look but other than that said nothing as she got into bed.

He growled in frustration at her determined silence, but took a couple of deep breaths and pleaded further. "Please tell me what's on your mind."

"The bullying, that's what I'm worried about. I know you'll stop but who will also?" She said, honestly not good at talking with others.

He made eye contact with her and said determinedly, "Stay with me as much as you can tomorrow. I'll protect you. Do you trust me?"

She looked nervous but nodded, knowing she would have to trust him more now than ever.

He smiled and crept into the sleeping bag she had provided for him. As he did so, he paused and leaned over onto her bed to grab her paw lightly in his own and bent over to give it small kisses and even a couple licks. "Good night," he murmured into the fur on her paw.
