Every Rose Has It's Thorn [PAFP]

She had stopped after a while and got out, taking her stuff into a motel room. She locked the door and crashed down on the bed, curling up.

He parked beside her and sighed, walking to the door and lightly knocking, begging that she would answer.

She sighed. "Go away." she said flatly.

He didn't say anything but knocked again, louder this time, and more annoying.

She flicked the key under the door and stayed on her bed.

He took the key and unlocked the door, opening it and walking in, locking it back up and he went to her without saying anything, he just latched onto her, holding her gently yet tightly, his breathing faltered as he tried to stop himself from crying.

She could tell it was him, tears slipping down her cheeks silently.

His body trembled and he held her, not planning to let go.

She shook from crying, eventually turning over and holding herself close, wrapping her arms around his neck and sobbing into his chest.

"I'm not leaving you.... Even if I forget, I wont" He mumbled, his tears falling to her shoulder, "And we'll keep trying if you want, there's always more than one miracle" He murmured, rubbing her back.

She shook her head. "P-Please... I... I'm not ready again..." she was still sobbing. "It was my f-fault... stupid... I'm so stupid..." she sobbed.

"Nothing will ever be your fault" He said and pet down her hair, "If you don't want to risk trying when your ready, we can always adopt" he said softly.

She sniffled and nodded. "I just... I thought you were gone... I... I'm lost without you..."

He held her, "I'm always with you" he said softly, then sighed, "I may forget who you are from time to time, but I'll always love and be with you" he told her, lightly pressing his lips to hers.

She kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He eventually broke the kiss and he held her, still not letting her go.

Her crying stopped and she calmed, eventually falling asleep.

He held her and let her sleep, laying down with her on him.

She woke up the next morning, sighing, and kissed his cheek gently, rolling over beside him.

He gave her a look, great, the Alzheimers was acting up again, there was a note on his lap for her.

She sighed, taking the note, and turned over, farther away from him to read it.

Sorry babe, you may wake up to my Alzheimer's acting up, in my coat pocket are cue cards with different things on them, if you use them it might help me remember, your card is the first one, try that, if I give weird looks it means my brain is working to try and remember

The note read, Yin gave a pout and watched her, "Where am I?" He asked.

She sighed softly, stroking his hand, and then got up and took the cue cards out of his coat pocket, putting them down next to him. "This might help."

He watched her with a tilted head, looking at the cards, "Hey, that lady person gave me those" He laughed, talking about a nurse who explained the cards to him.

She nodded. "The nurse." she said, smiling softly at him.
