He gave a slight smile, coughing and he began drifting off, starting to flat line.

Her eyes widened and she panicked, turning to the nurse. "H-Help him!" she begged, tears coming in a steady flow.

He coughed again which woke him and jump started his heart back up.

She held his hand tightly, looking relieved and terrorized.

He panted slightly, still struggling to breathe.

The nurse turned up the amount of oxygen he was getting and she refused to move.

His breaths were short and struggled, he was just staring up at the ceiling of the ambulance.

Once they got to the hospital he was rushed off, the nurses forcing her to wait in the waiting room with Thomas.

Zero was eventually put in a room, the bullet was taken out and he was stitched up, currently laying shirtless and sleeping in the bed.

Once she'd filled out all kinds of paperwork crap for Thomas to find his parents, he was taken to the adoption center. She walked into his room, sitting down in a chair beside his bed.

Zero was covered in old and New scars, the majority were old scars and he was still in an oxygen mask since he still struggled to breathe.

She waited for hours, holding one of his hands, and eventually fell asleep, slumped over, her head resting near his chest but her body in the chair.

Zero eventually woke, he tried sitting up but couldn't, so he just looked around.

She was sleeping soundly, holding his hand, her head resting on the edge of the bed.

He saw her and teared up again, he forced himself to sit up and he cupped her cheek, almost not believing he was touching her.

She let her head rest in his hand, muttering something in her sleep.

He smiled, pulling her onto the bed and he held her close.

She cuddled up close, her head resting against his chest.

He held her and calmed, his breathing actually became easier and he fell back to sleep.

She woke up a few hours later, making sure he was okay, and kissed his forehead, falling back asleep.

He cuddled close to her and he mumbled in his sleep.

She muttered back softly, sleeping.

He eventually woke and looked around.

She was still asleep, curled up cutely with him.
