Riverside (RP w/Dust)

Addie watched before taking off, paws slamming on the ground hard each time, eyes watching where they ran.

The entrance to the facility laid just ahead of them, their escape only a matter of pawsteps away.  Suddenly, alerted by the first guard, a squadron of five turned the corner, crouching and aiming at the pair yet again, under strict orders not to harm the subjects unless they were in danger.

Aleks slowly backed away, unsure of what else to do, looking to Addie.

Addie stood firmly, her eyes glowing a green instead of being blue. She growled slightly, her head racing, and blood pumping as she stood there. As she took a step foward, she seemed... bigger you might say, a few feet taller than her usually self.

Aleks' eyes widened when he looked to his right and saw she had grown considerably, wondering what on earth they could have done to her to get that effect.  

The guards began firing into Addie, but the dosages in their weapons were meant for a creature of Addie's normal size, not the beast she'd turned into.

Addie gave a loud snarl of anger at the shots being fired into her. Without trying to hurt them, she charged at them, trying to drive them back or drop their guns. The huge monster barked loudly at one side before swiping her claws at the other side of soldiers.

Her powerful blow sent two of the men flying against the wall, rolling around in pain, while the other three fired helter-skelter as they ran back down the hall they'd came from until they ran out of darts.  

Wide-eyed, Aleks looked to the door, trying to figure out the door blocking their escape as alarms began to sound.

Addie snorted happily before shrinking back down calmly. She shook her head slightly, going to have to get use to that. She looked up as the alarm blared loudly, making her sigh in anger.

Finally, Aleks worked out the mechanism with the use of a diagram on the wall nearby. He'd learned to understand diagrams and pictures far better than the written human language. Finally, after undoing a series of locks of various designs, the door swung open.

Addie watched him before seeing the door open. Eyes bright she took off outside, waiting for the other dog to come out with her. She wasn't an ass, she would rather travel in a pack than being a loner.

Aleks dashed outside, looking out at the surroundings around the buildings. They were in the middle of a remote mountain valley. Quickly making a decision, he dashed into the treeline, waiting for her once he felt comfortably hidden.

Addie followed quickly, eyes gleaming bright that they were free. She might've not have instability, but it was really cool to have a werewolf like thing in her opinion. Flicking her tail once she took cover, she looked back with a small grin.

Aleks camoflagued himself, watching warily as a group of armed guards left the compound on ATVs, searching for the escapees they wouldn't know were practically right under their noses.

Addie ducked down into the ground pretty much, ears flattening as she silently watched them with a flick of her tail.

After the noisily sputtering engines roared past and into the distance, the male returned to normal, heaving a heavy sigh as he turned to her. "We're out." He said disbelievingly, not even able to believe the plan had worked so well.

Addie gave a soft sigh of happiness before her tail started wagging happily. She stood up and looked around at the woods in disbelief that they were accutaly in them. She muttered softly, "I've missed this place."

"I've never belonged here." Aleks looked around at the unfamiliar territory, interrupting the moment with his blunt analysis of the situation. "I need to go home."

"Well I was talking about the forest itself, but whatever. We should get you home." Addie said with a flick of her tail before turning and walking slowly into the forest.

"I don't know where to go." He mewed, the reality of the event setting in. "I know the humans call it 'Siberia,' but I don't know where that is."

"Umm.. thats in Russia." Addie said, when she being a house dog her owner taking her every where in the world almost. The owner even showed her maps and such which is why she was good when in roads and such.

(Can you tell the others I'm going to bed please?)

"How far is that?" Aleks asked, his captivity and life in the Wild accounting for the fact that he'd never had access to a map like she had.

"Um... well where are you trying to go." Addie asked, looking back at Aleks, her ears perked up for an answer. She just hoped it wasn't across the world, which it probably would be.

"Home." Aleks replied simply. "I want to go back home." He looked at Addie for a moment, finding it hard to believe that the docile-looking dog could transform into a hulking beast at any moment.

"Well.. as in America or Asia or what?" Addie asked, ears flicking slightly as she heard some sort of bird near by. She blinked, looking up at the tree's with a sigh, happy that she was out of that place.

(Hate to bug u but want to be part of mine and Bacon's dragon slave thingy? U really don't have to mibd the rules since I trust the older ones but still kinda mind them. If you don't that fine :3.)

Aleks examined the bird and recognized the call. "That's a cardinal." He turned to Addie and said "That should narrow where we are down some, right?" Looking down the gravel road that led to the complex, he wondered where it led. "We need to find a map."

Addie nodded, agreeing with a we said. "We should follow this road and see where this leads. If we can get to a town I bet I can find a map." With that, the mixed dog started walking forth, her tail swaying slightly.
