He was gone for a few hours, having tracked down an old injured moose and he was able to bring it down, but not without the large prey animal leaving a few puncture wounds on the male wolf.

He panted heavily from having to drag the moose on his own, he dropped it just near the stream and he ran to get a drink.

He turned and made his way over to the moose carcass, he grabbed it and began dragging it again.

Once she had her piece he hesitantly took a piece off for himself, unsure if she'd treat him like his pack did whenever he tried to eat, he always had less than the omegas before he was kicked out.

He reflectively bared his fangs as she moved toward the kill for another bite, his ears were back and there was a nervousness in his eyes, he was jumpy and figured she'd attack him at some point for taking some of the kill.
