RockClan ~Strong Now and Forever~

Somewhere in the middle of a vast, endless, deep blue ocean, shrouded most days with fog and dark gray overcast, lie a group of three small islands, untouched by almost anything for as long as anycat can remember.  It is on these islands that Rockclan lives.  The camp is located in a crater that dominates the landscape of the smallest island.  The dens have been carved into the sides of the crater by ages of wear by the harshness of the elements in their home.  The two larger islands surround the camp on three sides, and are easily accessible by swimming no more than a few fox lengths.  The biggest is full of tall pine trees and steep cliffs that drop many tail-lengths into the water.  The other island is rocky and full of shallow ravines, some of which fill with water at high tide.  The cracked black volcanic rocks allow plenty of cover for medicinal herbs to grow in small clusters.  The cats of Rockclan are generally fairly muscular, and, for the most part, can at least tolerate the water since their daily lives require swimming.  Survival in this environment isn't easy, but if there's any creature that could manage, it would be the cats of Rockclan.

Silverstar watched over the Clan from whatever she called meetings from.

Fogpaw groomed her white coat.

Dawnkit chased her tail.

Longfur laid in camp, grooming his long fur and listening to the other members of the clan.

Snowstorm sat in her den where she sorted herbs in silence.

Icepaw bounded around camp, looking for his friends to talk to.

Fogpaw's jaws gaped in a yawn.

Stonefoot padded up to Silverstar, stretching himself out and then looking to his leader.  "Afternoon," he mewed, "if you can call it that.  He looked up to where the midday sun was just visible barely shining through the thick layer of cloud that surrounded the island.

Pearlpaw rolled onto her back outside of the nursery, bored.  It was a clan rule that apprentices shouldn't go out hunting alone on a foggy day like today, where vision was impaired.  Of course, this was almost aleast what the conditions here were like.  Looking around at the camp upside-down, she finally spotted a hunting partner.  "Icepaw!  Get over here, you big lump!"  

Mistrur returned into the camp with a fairly good catch of three mice dangling from her jaws.  She walked past Longfur on her way into camp, brushing her tail over his back teasingly, rubbing his fur the wrong way.

Silverstar nodded to Stonefoot. "Good afternoon/evening."

The deputy chuckled darkly, surveying the camp.  "I'd swear the weather's even worse today than normal.  Sure, it's not raining, but the fog's so thick you can't see from here to the other islands!"

*gasp* He chuckled darkly. Is he plotting something?)

Silverstar nodded, gazing off into the fog.

"Have any plans for the rest of the day?"  Stonefoot mewed curiously, looking to Silverstar.

Longfur watched the she-cat as she brushed against him and he grinned, flicking her nose with his tail, purring lightly as he watched her move.

Icepaw grinned and bounded over to the other apprentices, "Hey guys!" He mewed and smiled, his tail lashing.

Snowstorm yawned softly and walked out of her den once she was finished, looking around between the cats of the clan.

Mistfur turned around, her beautiful eyes narrowed teasingly, and shook her hips for him as she walked into the warrior's den, looking back at him knowingly the whole way. 

Pwarlpaw grinned goofily and bopped Icepaw on the nose when he came over.  "What have you been up to, you big lump? Stalking Stonefoot again?"  She teased playfully, sticking her tongue out at him.

Longfur stood and followed after Mustfur, his ears flicking as he trailed a few fox lengths behind her, grinning slightly.

"Oh please, I'm not stalking, I'm observing!" He mewed with a grin, "I mean, I do want to be deputy one day" He stated.

(*stares* Now I'm frightened)

Silverstar shook her head.

Mistfur walked all the way to the entrance of the den, then turned around, waiting for him to enter after her.

Pearlpaw rolled her eyes teasingly.  "Alrighty then.  I still call it stalking."  Turning to him with her eyes sparkling, she looked towards the entrance to camp.  "Wanna go hunt something?  I'm bored!"  

Stonefoot nodded and looked out over the camp.  "Me either.  Perhaps we could go survey the big island, maybe look into that weird Twoleg thing that washed up?"
