She smiled softly, sniffling, and let the baby crawl onto her father's lap. She chuckled softly.

"I was going to make you anyway" he teased, "I already got the crib and rocking chair done so you can use them" he said.

She nodded. "Alright." she said with a gentle smile. She came in and sat down in the rocking chair, which had a blanket on it, and she pulled the blanket over her and the baby.

He flopped onto the floor and began putting things together again, tossing the instructions each time he opened a box.

She fell asleep in the rocking chair, she let Alice suck on her breast even though she'd just been fed. She didn't have milk, but it seemed to help Alice when she was scared or upset.

She woke up, yawning softly, and set sleeping Alice in her crib. She helped him back into their room and got him into bed, crawling in with him.

She cuddled close and when the baby gave a cry she was the one to wake up and tend to her. She came back and curled up with him, holding herself close.
