She shook her head, then heard the door close. She looked around and then quickly grabbed his hand and hid him in a closet before her mother walked in.

He huffed when she hid him, though he stayed quiet and listened.

The woman growled. "You worthless bitch. Get that cloth off of your face." the lady ripped it off and shoved Sierra into the wall. The girl stumbled into it and fell over, her eye shut and her face bloody. "That's right. Not a word. Not a noise. You get punished for making noise." the lady said and then took a sharp blade, gently nicking Sierra's neck. She burst out in agony, and then the woman drew it down, blood running down her neck. The lady rolled her eyes, kicking the girl and walking off, locking the door behind her.

He frowned, getting out once her mother was gone, he picked Sierra up gently and held her close, beginning to move to the window.

He wrapped his coat around her and slowly climbed down the tree.

She pulled the bloody piece of cloth out and held it to her eye again, making sure it wasn't going to keep bleeding.

He gently set her down and ripped up the rest of his shirt, "I'll fix you up better at home, or my mother will, depends if she is there, she's a nurse" he said gently then picked her up again.
